Common pricing questions

Is there a free version of Hanlexon?

Yes. At no cost you get the full HSK 1-9 curriculum, spaced repetition review, daily study plans, and a daily taste of Prof Hanlexon.

What's the difference between Standard and Pro?

Standard ($24.99/year) is for creating and practicing: create and edit your own content, export printable PDFs, take full-length HSK mock tests, and download progress reports. Pro ($59.99/year) adds creating and managing your own classes and lessons, assigning work, and following your class's progress. Every plan includes a daily allowance with Prof Hanlexon (voice conversation, pronunciation, writing & translation feedback); Standard includes more each day, and Pro the most.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from Settings → Plan; you keep access until the end of the billing period.

Do you offer student or institutional discounts?

Schools get a group price on Pro for their teachers (see above). Students always join free, so there’s no student discount to offer.

What payment methods do you accept?

We use Stripe. Major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay, and WeChat Pay — the exact options depend on your country. Alipay and WeChat Pay can’t auto-renew, so they appear on every option except “Subscribe”. We never store card numbers.

Can I switch plans later?

You can upgrade any time; moving from Standard to Pro credits the time you've already paid for. To change or cancel a plan, use Settings → Plan → Manage Billing.

What happens to my progress if I downgrade?

Your study history, vocabulary progress, and account remain intact. You lose access to features that aren't in the new plan (e.g., class management if you move from Pro to Standard) but your data stays on your account.
