If you used Hanlexon before our V2 redesign, the tools you love are still here — they just have new names and live in a clearer sidebar. Here's the quick map.
Use the sidebar on every page to jump between tools. Here's what each was called before:
| What you used to call it | Where it is now | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Worksheet creator (/worksheet.htm in V1) |
Vocab Builder (识字) | Create printable writing grids, flash cards, character cards, and reading passages — same workflow as before, plus interactive practice modes. |
| HSK vocabulary browser | HSK Vocab Browse | Browse every word in HSK 1–9, filter by level, click to study. |
| (new in V2) | Reading (阅读) | Graded reading library with pinyin, translation, and comprehension quizzes. |
| (new in V2) | Conversation (会话) | Voice practice with Prof Hanlexon, an AI tutor that listens and corrects pronunciation. |
| (new in V2) | Writing & Grammar (写作·语法) | Write sentences or essays and get AI feedback on grammar, vocabulary, and style. This is not the printable-worksheet tool — for that, use Vocab Builder. |
| (new in V2) | Translation (翻译) | Practice translation with AI feedback. |
| HSK practice tests | HSK Tests | Same official-format mock tests, organized by level. |
Click Vocab Builder (识字) in the sidebar. On the page, use the menu bar to pick what you want to build:
Paste any Chinese text into the title bar or pick from your vocabulary list — same flow as the classic editor.
Your home page (click "Home" in the sidebar) now shows a personalized daily plan: what to review, what to learn next, and a quick-access reading. Spend 15–30 minutes a day here and you'll move steadily through your HSK level.
See Using Your Daily Plan for the full walkthrough.
Most classic pages still work at their old URLs — for example, /worksheet.htm opens the original worksheet editor. We recommend trying Vocab Builder first; it has everything Classic had plus stroke-order playback and interactive practice modes.
Use the feedback button at the bottom-right of any page to send us a note. We read every message.
